Furnish a worm gear operating system to manually control dampers from a remote location. The worm gear shall be furnished as one-piece construction with universal mounting capabilities to accommodate a shaft from 1/4-3/8 square, or 1/4-1/2 round. The worm gear construction shall be 14 gauge galvannealed steel with an aluminum worm gear and planetary gear. The worm gear should provide access and support for a 1/4 brass plated rotary cable that can be operated with a standard hex nut driver. The worm gear and planetary gear combination should provide a 20:1 ratio of torque transmission. The worm gear shall be able to control models RT-200 and RT-250 provided by Metropolitan Air Technology LLC., or approved equals, and be terminated by a Ceiling Cup (RT-CCM, RT-CCR, or RT-CCS), an angle bracket, or a retaining clip (when used inside the plenum). The worm gear shall be Metropolitan Air Technology LLC. Model #RT-WGA or approved equal.
